Objectifs to the rescue..

Our supersampler is alive and kicking well....
Thanks to Objectifs, who did a 1 for 1 exchange for our Supersampler...

Ed and I were so excited that we started supersampler rolling again. Now, I cant wait for the photos to be developed... Yesterday Ed and I went for lomo kicks at Bugis. After snapping for about 2.5 hours, we entrusted Triple D with 3 rolls of films (for processing).

Total Damage till date (since early Oct 08): A total of $500 spent and 7 rolls of film taken in just 2 weeks...

We definitely practice the spirit of lomo... "Dont think just shoot" .
Who can thus blame us for being so crazy over it... Oh ya, and did I mention that we have a total of 4 lomo cameras and have new ideas for our upcoming photos ??? Stay tuned...

Supersampler... Ruined...

One word to describe my feeling... Disappointed!

Our whole roll of film has a scratch planted across all the photos.

Cause: Our supersampler is handicapped. A metal plate within the interior of SS has came off. We thus used our instinct and fix it. Naturally, we did not manage to fix it.. Sob...

My sis and mum lomo-ing too.. How hip can they be...

Me at the Real run.. Photo would have been nicer without the scratch. Love the vast road... Changi is one of my favourite route...

Second roll of Super Sampler

This roll of Super Sampler is taken more with people as the theme... Totally unlike Ed's style who prefers to take more scenery and items..

Me, being the photographer tries to capture Ed running towards the Mailbox. It is considered quite a feat as you have to base on your gut feeling to snap it. There is nothing for you to look into before you snap snap...

Ed trying out another method of snapping photos.
Randomly take four different shots in quick motion. Of of my favourite photos...

Taken outside the Central fire station, opposite funan center.

Ed tossing the camera up to snap photos. Rather cute that it managed to capture Ed's expression of trying to catch the camera...

Ed, tossing the lomo in a circular motion... Ed loves, the spiral effect created from it.

Motion photos turn out the nicest... Me running towards him...

Me just snapping without any motion. Rather pleased with the vibrant colours on it.

First roll of Super Sampler

I don't know if the camera feels anything when we open its rear door and stuck something in it, but to me, the first film loading experience was really a pain in the ass. I don't really want to relive my nightmare, so let's just let the pictures do some story telling.

This is the first time I am playing with the Super Sampler, so I decide to do some random shot around my daily life and see how it turns out.

I initially wanted to take the picture of SBS Transit wording. But due to the lack of a proper viewfinder on the Super Sampler, the picture turns out this way, which is quite cool too, a lone guy on a bus. Probably much cooler than the SBS Transit wording.

I got this idea from a book. Throw the Super Sampler towards the sky and let it takes picture randomly. Do it at your own risk though. It's not fun when your camera is up there and you can't open your eye because god is shining the spot light on you. Luckily the Super Sampler hit my arm when it fell down and I managed to catch it with my Bruce-like reaction.

I just find the picture cool.

I put the Super Sampler on the floor, fire up the shutter and try to jump over it in 2 seconds. Inspired by one guy from the lomotw.com guy.

Early morning at the car park below my house. Cindy says the light through the trees looks like a pig crossing the road. If you can't see the pig, it's at the lower left hand side of the picture.

The complete set of roll can be viewed here.

All the pictures above were taken using Super Sampler, with Cindy's ultra-expired films. The poor Kodak was neglected for almost 6 years before the I resurrected it from dead and gave him a new meaning to live on.
