Once upon a time, dear little Cindy saw some pictures on her friend's facebook profile. Those pictures were strange indeed, everything inside is rounded at the edge, like looking at the world through a fish's eye, and the strong color that lingered on the pictures totally blew her mind away.
So the curious girl fired up and bugged everyone with the same question, trying to find the secret to the strange photos, not knowing that the answer was just a Google away.
Eventually Cindy hunted down her friend who came to town for business, and interrogated her. No one knew what happened but I saw Cindy leaving the room with an evil grin.
Now that Cindy possessed the secret to the strange picture, she wanted the camera to create those enchanted photos. The next victim was no other than yours truly. The holy quest to look for the magical creature was bestowed upon me.
Lucky for me, the monstrous fisheye resided in the bookshop that I frequent, and I spotted him right there when I walked into the shop. I had new respect for the stupid looking fisheye, after knowing that we shared a similar liking in books, why else would it stayed in a bookshop?
I bought Cindy to its house, well expecting Cindy to abduct the fisheye. But a situation occured. There's other species in that small community! Other than the fisheye, there's novem-lentic pop9, elegant Diana and bulky Holga. We had a big problem, which kid should we kipnap?
Looking at the puzzled duo, a nice lady volunteered to be an accessory to our little crime. She gave us a simple walkthrough on the characteristics of each of those nice little creatures. I bet she's using reverse psychology to protect those little kids, because the more we listened to her, the more confusing we got, and we totally lost it...
The perfect crime was hard to pull off, so Cindy and I decided to retreat for the time being. Of course, Cindy was not easily beaten. She was going back to her small hut, researching those little creatures before striking again. This time, she knew Google was everyone's best friend.
I had to join in, for I personally was pretty attached to those little creatures too. Anyway, to cut the story short, I shan't bore you with all the fights that Cindy and I had on the course to make the final decision, but I could assure you that those fights weren't pretty.
After 3 stitches on my chin and 156 more on my left arm, we finally decided on the elegant Miss Diana F+ and the rapid firing Super Sampler. I wasn't sure if we'd made the correct decision, since the two of us were totally new to this, and Diana seemed pretty hard to please (a common characteristic shared by girls, object with a girl's name, and Windows).
The order had been placed, and they who hailed from Hong Kong should reach Singapore anytime.
(hmm.... they are already in my room long before this post is done)
